The main location and production facility for Black Walnut Winery is located in a 200+ yr old bank barn in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The four owners have renovated the facility for wine tasting and events, but kept that old world feel to reflect the historic craft of winemaking. The Phoenixville location is a tasting room and wine supply store on the corner of Gay and Bridge, within walking distance of a number of great Phoenixville BYO's. Black Walnut Winery has already won a number of awards for its fine wines, even though our business is just approaching its one year anniversary. We received a bronze medal at the 2010 Pennsylvania Farm Show Wine Competition for our 2007 Chardonnay and another bronze at the 2010 Pennsylvania Wine Competition for our 2007 Merlot. We have a strong commitment to providing our visitors with good wine through an interactive experience and welcoming atmosphere. Focused on developing the balance of aromas and flavors in our wines and identifying tones and tastes approachable by many palates, the winery strives to enhance a guest’s experience, from the amateur to the connoisseur. We offer a full range of vinifera and hybrid wines from very dry to sweet. Please visit our website at www.blackwalnutwinery.com for information about scheduled events and event space rental at our Sadsburyville location.
Within walking distance of four Phoenixville BYO's.
